SEMI TRAILER TRUCK
A majority of cargoes are transported in these trucks.
It's possible to load cargo into a semi-trailer truck by removing its tent cover from above, or from the side or through its back side.
It has a maximum capacity of 24,000 kilogram.
JUMBO TRAILER TRUCK
Similar to semi-trailer trucks.
Jumbo trucks can also carry a maximum of 24,000 kilograms.
But they have more capacity because they have a lesser wheel diameter and a G-shaped floor.
FLATBED TRUCK
These trucks are named so, because they have an open cargo bed trailer along with the driver’s cabin. As flatbed trucks don’t have a roof and sides, it's easy to load goods on it.
It is an ideal truck for durable and bulky freight like wood, pipes, construction material and other types of cargo. It can be loaded from the top using a crane.
They are used for transportation of those goods which require special temperature conditions. Mostly it's for food transportation.
Isotherms can have a certain temperature for a certain amount of time.
ISOTHERM TRUCK
REFRIGERATED TRUCK (REEFER)
They are fitted with cooling equipment (ice or mechanical refrigeration) to keep food and supplies fresh during transportation.
Commonly used to transport fruit, meat, and fish.
They can provide temperature which can be much lower than isotherms can provide.
TANK TRUCKS (TANKER)
Tank trucks are used to transport liquid or liquefied material, for example it can be oil, gasoline, water, liquid chemicals.
The containers can be insulated or pressurized. Sometimes tank trucks can have a special compressor inside which helps to locate the tank on the necessary height.
MEGA TRAILER TRUCK
Similar to semi-trailer trucks.
They look almost the same, but it's possible to load cargo of more volume.
It can be loaded up to 100 cubic meters of cargo into mega trailer trucks.
CONTAINER TRUCK
They transport containers. Mostly these trucks do it from the place of loading to the sea port where containers will be loaded to the ship or they transport the containers from the port to the destination point.

CAR TRANSPORTER
Car transporters are used for transportation of cars.
There trucks can be single-decker or double-decker, enclosed or open. They have multiple spaces to hold cars inside during the transportation.
Usually car transporters are used to transport several cars from the manufacturers to the dealerships or to the other buyers.
LOWBOY TRUCK
This truck has an extremely low platform.
It's possible to load cargoes which can be up to 3,66 m tall. Lowboys are mostly used to transport heavy equipment like buldozers or industrial equipment, etc.
TAIL-LIFT TRUCK
This truck has a mechanical device which is already installed in the truck. So cargo can be loaded mechanically from the ground level to the level of the vehicle bad or vice versa.
It helps to safely load or unload the cargo. Such trucks are more expensive, but in this case you'll need only one worker who'll just need to put the cargo on the loading dock.
DOUBLE TRAILER TRUCK
This truck has 2 trailers.
It's semi-trailer truck + one more trailer.
It's perfect for those situations when it's necessary to transport a big quantity of goods in the same time.
Sometimes it's possible to see triple trailer trucks but it's a rare thing, because it's difficult to drive them.
DUMP TRUCK
This truck is used for transportation of sand, gravel, coal and such type of cargoes.
Dump truck has an open-box bed and it is equipped with hydraulic rams which lift the front of the bed and "dump" the cargo on the ground.
BOX TRUCK
Box truck is usually used for transportation of a small amount of cargoes, mostly for furniture.
It has a garage door on the back side which looks like a real door that rolls up.
